I discovered it is possible to draw physically on paper and then color them digitally in Adobe draw on the ipad version. Here is a short tutorial.
-we start out with a basic sketch on paper. Here is one I did on a copier page because I liked the text effect. Different papers will effect your final result. So play around.
-take a photo and upload it into abobe draw by using the “add photo layer” tool. In the layer settings select “multiply”.
-open a new drawing layer and set it underneath the photo layer. Color in your drawing as desired. You can use multiple layers, however make sure they are all underneath the photo layer, otherwise they will cover the linework of your drawing.
click the export button, select image, select save as. You can then crop the photo as desired in your photo settings.

This is one way to combine traditional and digital media.
Have fun!
